Ohio bowling centers are arguing they should be allowed to offer video slot machines, too, if the state's horse racing tracks get them. Bowling alley representatives made their case Wednesday before an Ohio House panel that's considering legislation to pave the way for slots at seven horse tracks. Vermilion library unveiling set for Saturday

A special grand opening ceremony will be held this Saturday, March 13th, at Vermilion's Ritter Public Library. The library has undergone a massive year long $4.9 million dollar makeover and expansion. $1.2M settlement reached in Ohio caged kids case

Eleven adopted and foster children who were forced to sleep in cages by a northern Ohio couple have reached a $1.2 million settlement with the county where they once lived. Lawyers for the children say Huron County officials should have discovered what was happening sooner and removed the children more quickly. The Los Angeles coroner's office says "The Lost Boys" actor Corey Haim is dead at 38. Coroner's Lt. Cheryl MacWillie said Wednesday that Haim died at 2:15 a.m. at Providence St. Joseph Medical Center in Burbank. She said an autopsy will determine the cause of death and there are no other details...
P & G recalls 2 Pringles flavors

Procter & Gamble Co. has recalled two versions of Pringles chips because of concerns about potential Salmonella exposure. The Cincinnati-based consumer products maker says the Cheeseburger and "Taco Night" versions of the snack are being recalled. The company is offering replacement coupons or refunds. P&G says the two varieties represent only one-half of 1 percent of Pringles U.S. volume and the recalled versions are only sold in the U.S. The company says there have been no reports of...
Ohio delays execution of inmate found unconscious

Ohio has postponed the execution of an inmate who overdosed on pills from Tuesday to March 16. Authorities say 43-year-old Lawrence Reynolds was found unconscious in his prison cell Sunday night. He had been scheduled to die by lethal injection for the killing of his Cuyahoga Falls neighbor in 1994. Prisons spokeswoman Julie Walburn says Reynolds has been upgraded from serious to stable condition at a Youngstown hospital, but medical staff don't anticipate releasing him Monday. Walburn says...
